Medical Assistant Instructor

Pulse Medical Assistant School - Norman is hiring a Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructor for our ongoing, 16-week hands-on clinical training program.

📅1.5 hour online sessions on either M, T, W, or Th evenings (7:30 PM-9 PM your local time) each week. 1 (one) or 2 (two) Saturdays per month for a full day (8 AM- 8 PM) at our office location.

💰$23.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

What You'll Do

•Demonstrate clinical procedures and patient care techniques
•Teach vitals, EKG, phlebotomy, and patient intake procedures
•Coach students during hands-on lab practice
•Provide performance feedback and skills assessments
•Maintain infection control and classroom safety standards
•Foster a supportive, structured learning environment

Who This Is For

CMA, RMA, or CCMA welcomed — medical assistants who want to keep practicing during the week while stepping into a mentorship role on Saturdays and who are ready to make an impact beyond the exam room.

Requirements

✓5+ years of medical assisting or clinical experience
✓Have a license issued by a state or the federal government in the field in which he/she is teaching
✓CPR/BLS Certification
✓Strong communicator: able to explain medical procedures clearly to learners with no prior experience
✓Able to commute to location(s)

Nice-to-haves: Prior teaching or mentoring experience, EHR system experience, Leadership background
