Medical Assistant Instructor
Denver Medical Assistant School - Aurora is hiring a Part-Time Medical Assistant Instructor for our ongoing, 18-week hands-on clinical training program.
What You'll Do
- •Demonstrate clinical procedures and patient care techniques
- •Teach vitals, EKG, phlebotomy, and patient intake procedures
- •Coach students during hands-on lab practice
- •Provide performance feedback and skills assessments
- •Maintain infection control and classroom safety standards
- •Foster a supportive, structured learning environment
Who This Is For
CMA, RMA, or CCMA welcomed — medical assistants who want to keep practicing during the week while stepping into a mentorship role on Saturdays and who are ready to make an impact beyond the exam room.
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of medical assisting or clinical experience (state requirement)
- ✓license, certification, registration, journeyman’s card or similar regulatory credential
- ✓CPR/BLS Certification
- ✓Strong communicator: able to explain medical procedures clearly to learners with no prior experience
- ✓Able to commute to location(s)
Nice-to-haves: Prior teaching or mentoring experience, EHR system experience, Leadership background
